A tiny framed 5'7" Native American/German Cathee Dahmen (my mother) was discovered by Eileen Ford herself. An art student, Cathee lived with famed fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez and quickly became his muse for many pastel portraits. Eileen Ford quickly discovered the young girl in Antonio's portraits noticing the unique way Cathee posed using her hands and body in such a way. Cathee soon became The Ford Agency's top earner for three years in the late 60's.
