i don't have a good hoodie, but i did try it with something similar just to get the look and - again- you are right...
it's just great like that...
i'll have to look for something along those lines...

in the meantime, of all the things that i have in my closet, the best thing is a dries top that knots at the shoulder...
it has a banded bottom like a sweatshirt, so it gives that silhouette and the knot is actually very "comme", so it works well, imho...

the hyke one might be a bit too much of mode, but I think it will come in dark navy as well as black.

yes- i think the Y-3 sweatshirt is too "boxy" with the fullness of the skirt...
though i do love it, in general...

i have a grey one i like but it just isn't very nice together, somehow...
i think maybe because the one i have has no band at the bottom...
i think uniqlo def has this sort of thing but i think it's all made in china...

I picked the suzuki takayuki one from last fall because the one from this fall (all the images below) looks more fitted or compact. this season version, which I think is lightly boiled, is cotton 90 wool 10.

i got so lost looking at all sorts of sweet things ...
from sweatshirts to necklaces to slippers/room shoes...
...

i like almost everything that i saw from the reracs this season...
both men and women...
the stuff is almost unisex...
i am not so familiar with the brand but it looks like they showed the mens collection on an androgynous looking girl one season...
that's cool...
reminds me somewhat of the french brand- the kooples...(you have one sweater from them, runner...)
i won't keep talking about them here because it goes too far off topic...
but i quite like a LOT of what they showed this season- esp the jackets, the ankle boots and the little silver anchor on all the jackets- i wonder if that is a pin sold separately or if that is just their trademark this season?
i love it~!

*reminds me of the little silver mina perhonen shell that i always wear on my yohji cutaway blazer...

i always think it would be nice to have some other similar style pins to wear on my other lapels because i hate to take that one off ...
it just lives on that jacket- they belong together forever...

i realized the reason i have very few hoodies is because so many of my coats have a hood and it looks just ridiculous to have both at once...

i do recognise the shirt- IDLF...
frankly, i find that many things i have gotten from uniqlo work exceedingly well with my cdg pieces...
so much so that it stands out in my mind...

i don't know if i could wear it like that though...
because i am petite and have hips...
the skirt is long and the fluffy parts already add extra inches to my hips...
then - if the shirt is long, it will hit some of those fluffy bits and just stick out...
i'm not afraid of volume, but i am not too fond of bulk...
and that is what my concern is...
just too much fabric and not elegant enough...
that would make me feel self conscious...

*though i do have a very plain asymmetrical a-line black heavy cotton comme skirt which i have never worn that is similar to the culottes in the left side pic and it might be interesting to try something similar with that skirt...
