Teen Vogue’s Young Hollywood Party was pretty darn genius, if we say so ourselves. There were many reasons for the fete being fantastic (like the unusual and beautiful setting, a showing of the Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 08 collection, and mini cheeseburgers passed on trays) but our favorite element was the attendees—real youngsters! Of course, the guests were far more fashionably dressed than any high school rager we attended, but that’s beside the point. There were a great number of darling dressers who came out for the party, so we’re spotlighting a few of our favorites in today’s roundup.
We loved the unfussy ease of Haley Bennet’s chili pepper red Madison Marcus dress, especially when paired with simple Jimmy Choo heels and cool metallic clutch. Emma Roberts polka-dot-print, tiered, D&G frock was detailed without being overly dramatic, and she too went for a pair of black, pointy toe pumps. Scout and Tallulah Willis looked harmoniously lovely at the party. Scout wore her own vintage dress (the baby blue is gorgeous with her complexion) while her younger sister shined in a vivid Marc by Marc Jacobs dress. Madeline Zima, who’s on the buzzy show
Californication, picked a perfectly fitting BCBG dress and a saucy pair of leopard print, peep toe heels.
Other notable outfits came from Olivia Wilde in a long sleeved dress featuring a tattoo-inspired print and Emilie de Ravin, who looked primly chic in a Marc by Marc Jacbos outfit (Notice her shoes? Notice a trend?). A newly fringed Camilla Belle wore one of the most stunning dresses of the evening. She looked exquisite in a 3.1 Phillip Lim dress and Miu Miu heels. The vintage-looking, deep pumpkin-colored dress isn’t available now—but it will be soon! It’s part of Lim’s Holiday 2007 collection, so file that bit of knowledge away for future reference. Our last age-appropriate and appealing ensemble comes courtesy of the luxuriously good-looking Lily Collins (yep, Phil’s daughter). She got the proportions of her festively tiered mini dress just right and her strappy but sturdy shoes are a spot-on final touch.
