I came up with the idea for this thread several weeks ago when I was looking at magazines and watching runway videos and as I was observing the models, many times I'd say to myself..."this is the best that so-and-so has EVER looked!"
So, I thought it would be a fun thread.
Basically, post any model and the show or editorial that you feel they looked the absolute best in their entire career along with a brief description as to why you feel it is this girl's best look/ work ever.
I'll start it off!
Solange Wilvert at Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture SS 07
I was watching JPG Haute Couture SS 07 last night and I was so struck by how perfect Solange looked. I've always thought she was really beautiful, but I was never captivated by her...but in this show she is just mesmerizing! I had to rewind it several times! First of all, the hair and make up were very flattering and her halo was beautiful and her dress was magnificent. It was really a great casting. She looks SO angelic (which, obviously, was perfect for this show!)

Lily Cole at Christian Lacroix Haute Couture FW 07
To be honest, I've never liked Lily Cole. I mean, I understood her appeal, but she always felt very awkward to me. Anyway, I was so stunned when I saw her final look (la mariee) at Christian Lacroix Haute Couture FW 07! I was totally shocked that I found her to be so gorgeous! Her red hair was more beautiful than ever and I loved that it was a bit messy and wild, her eye make up was savage and her dress was beyond magnificent! Plus, her awkward walk and body were totally masked by the volume of the dress!
