Basically looking for an update on what the original poster asked / if anyone knows anywhere online/in the world, where I can buy vintage patterns, particularly from Cristobal Balenciaga/his contemporaries?
There are lots of small independent pattern makers/companies out there too. A lot of them seem to favor a slight vintage (40's-60's) aesthetic, but there are more contemporary things to be found too. And they are definitely more modern than the big four. Here's a list of a few that comes to mind:
